HOW TO: Know If You Are Ready for AI

June 26th @ 12pm ET

Buzz Solutions will share our proposed model for determining when a utility is ready to automate inspection image analysis with AI. The model combines image processing volumes with “utility readiness” based on eleven criteria, including attributes of inspection image management, status of subject matter experts, experience with AI and the cloud, and utility goals.

  • Speaker: Ethan O'Connell, Director of Sales Development & Operations

HOW TO: Evaluate AI Solutions

July 31st @ 12pm ET

Buzz looks at ways utilities can make thorough evaluations of AI solutions. It’s important to understand how AI models were trained, and the data sets used. AI solutions also allow great opportunities for a test run, so we suggest taking full advantage by structuring interactive evaluations, for data ingestion, mapping, and AI detection accuracy, both out of the box and after tuning.

HOW TO: Secure AI Deployments

August 19th @ 12pm ET

Buzz will share thoughts on cybersecurity and recommend some relevant security frameworks and programs to utilize like SOC 2, ISO 27001 and FedRAMP. We’ll share our perspectives on securing cloud deployments and balancing the three pillars of cybersecurity – People, Processes and Technology. We’ll also discuss principles we use to maintain a strong cybersecurity company culture.

HOW TO: Operationalize & Scale AI

September 25th @ 12pm ET

After a successful pilot, you then need to operationalize and scale your AI-enabled inspection programs. In this webinar Buzz will look at effective ways to scale from 100 structures to 10,000. We’ll share best practices for maintaining model accuracy and streamlining workflows by integrating inspection image analysis with existing utility systems and processes. Improvements in work processes pay off nicely when programs scale.

HOW TO: Measure ROI for AI Solutions

October 16th @ 12 ET

When it’s time to financially justify an AI-enabled inspection program you’ll appreciate this final webinar in the series. We’ll look at metrics for measuring end-to-end inspection process improvements, including the value of preempted outages, improved resource efficiencies, and reduced costs. We’ll also consider the value of inspection improvements for reduction in wildfire risk or progress toward storm hardening goals.
